Prada imprint Miu Miu have long since established themselves as the glitter bugs of footwear. However, the impending party season has seen a rash of High Street stores throw their hats (or heels) into the ring, with an influx of shimmery boots, glitzy flats and sparkly platforms. The perfect pick-me-up as we head into Autumn, visit the stores below to grab a glitter boost and start stocking up for your next soiree.       

                       

Topshop

If you believe the hype (I’m not sure how reliable radio weather is nowadays) we should be expecting an Indian summer. However, some areas are yet to see any golden rays and like a glorious night out, we’re suffering the effects from the weather the ‘night before’. The perfect cure for a summer shoe hang-over, Topshop provide a cure, coming up trumps with their A/W selection. With on-trend, glitzy Chelsea boots, stunning gold-heeled velvet courts and bedazzled ankle boots, the sun might be MIA but there’s plenty of opportunities to make your toes shine over the next few months. 

       

 River Island

Cashing in on this season’s metallic trend, River Island are offering a slightly more understated approach, with pewter and bronze shades. These gorgeously distressed tassel loafers, silver creeper brogues and slipper pumps, made the top of the list. A fashionista favourite at Fashion Week, creepers have made a big come-back recently, get double fashion points for grabbing a shimmery set.
